Well I thought I put some distance between me and the little woman,by mid week I was up by about 60 coins including a 1900 barber dime and a gold ring but I was mistaken. We went out together sat. and I started out well at our local park,I found 23 coins in the same hole and another dozen here and there and she had about 10 total. We both went to a small hill in the park and she started on a roll! We we were done she ended up with 64 and I had around 55.Well I had to go to work in the afternoon and can you believe she went huntin without me! She joined the century club with another 38 and she pulled within 13 for the week.On Sunday it was raining slightly and I was going to my monthly club meeting in the afternoon,so she wrapped her detector case in glad wrap and wanted to go out for a little.I didn't bring mine so I let her find em and I dug em,when we were done she took a 18 coin lead for the month. After me club meeting I had to go hunting alittle just to catch up.End of week totals were me 223 and 1 gold ring, and she is at 221 and a nice gold ring. STAY TUNED......

Glad to see you both getting out and using your machines. Trust me now that the bug has bit her she will be unstoppable. But enjoy the time and you both dig some treasure

That's a funny story! I wish my better half would try MDing once.... I think she would be bit by the bug.

Great story.

What brand/model detectors do you folks use?
