Detector needed

Well I just had the worst day of my life so far. So in order to stand up to the man (who one day I hope to be) I have decided to invest my last few dollars into a metal detector and go have some fun. Who knows maybe I can find a some gold all of you have missed.

If there is anyone who lives neer somerset ky and has an extra detector that they could part with at a decent price I am all ears. I dont have alot of money but dont want to by a piece of junk either.

Ian, I wish I could help you out, I would if I could. I only have one detector and it would take 12 men and a judge to take it away from me.....lol.....Seriously, I wish you luck. Have you tried calling a few pawn shops? Might could pick up a cheap one there. Let me know if you find one.

There is a Tesoro Compadre for sale in the For Sale section of TreasureNet. That is a great starter detector in my opinion. Hope it helps.

Sorry you're having a rough one. The new year starts tomorrow though. A great time to start afresh.

You can't do better than that brand-new Compadre for $110. I have a Silver uMax and love it. Runs circles around my Ace250.
