detector help?

im looking at get another detector....i had one a few yrs ago but sold it to help my mom out....welll my mom ended up passing away in 2010 and i wanna get back into detecting to help relieve stress and was wondering what detectors are good and which ones to stay away from....your opinion would be great

and yes detecting will take your mind off of thing I love detecting wish I could hunt now but the snow put an end too that white's GT looks like the best deal out there for that price... but all depends on what your hunting for and were.
good luck... a good used mxt is well worth the time to fool around with if you bought a mxt for 400.00
and had too send it in
and it came back better than new for a 100.00 that's only 500.00 and may be some shipping for a up to date quality detector. that can hold it's own a-monks the higher end ones...
