I am staying in Jackson MS for a week and was wondering if there anywhere I can break in my new to me metal detector(garret Gold).

UPDATE, Not sure about any of the other parks mentioned. CLINTON has went nuts. Ok so according to mayor there is no WRITTEN rule against detecting in parks. But the discourage it. They will call the police on you. Technically the police can't do much because you aren't actually breaking the law or a rule, they might try to trespass you. Not sure they can do really do that either. It would essentially just be a technicality that would have to end up being a dropped thing legal wise. But it isn't worth the hassle. I'm not sure if there are any rules for Pearl, Brandon or Madison. Does anyone know for sure?Just be aware that Fortification Street is not the safest area. If you are just wanting to test out a new detector, maybe hit a public park in Madison, Brandon, or Clinton.
