detecting Destin

Anybody ever go out and detect the area North of Destin Bridge where all of the boaters hangout on weekends? I am planning on being in the area and was thinking of giving it a try. And yes I do have a boat to get out there. I planning on using my trusty sea hunter

Well made it back from Destin and did not find much!! Spent 2 days hanging in the water on Crab Island and found a few beer cans. 2 pennies 1 dime a bunch of sand dollars and half a barbecue tong. It was a great place to hang out. talked to a guy that runs the inflatable slide and he told me he checks the slide area daily and there are others out there regularly. It was a great time.

I would of thought that would be a great spot
