Hi evryone, well here are pics as requested, and will let you in on latest poll

so far #1 is the gong or whatever it is called in a giant bell
#2is an ornate top to a post
#3 is a lightning rod thingie or weathervane piece.
for specifics, slightly larger than a soft ball, but 10 lbs weighed! doupt it would be for lighting rod or weathervane. It is clad, that is ,it is solid iron,I believe clad in brass, and looks to be hand made.I have no idea what it is, but will let you all know if the new pics bring anything else up. The two small straps indicate to me they may have kept this thing from swinging, and a rod went through the hole in the middle.Thing is..how big would the bell be!

found on land, yes with a detector(white XLT), most weather vane parts are not solid, this thing is 10 lbs,so this makes me think gate, bell, counter weight,am hoping the designs maight look familiar to someone.ca tell you at least five different size bells found at this guy's place, most small

Well it's not a lighting rod top, they were made from glass or ceramics.

Counter wieght would fit the bill
