I went to the store today and asked the cashier I know if she has seen any cool coins or bills lately. She said that she saw a bunch of large dollar coins and they looked to be old though she did not have time to check what they were. I said that I would buy them when she said that they were sent out a couple days ago :(. I am just annoyed that I missed those coins. Same thing happened last week with two silver quarters, someone bought them 20 minutes before I asked. She told me that there are a couple collectors who come here and to come more often if I want to find more stuff.

Sounds like an invitation.
Good eye if she notices the old stuff.
Hook me up and you should get something for recognition.
Maybe just for the invite.
H.H..

Hang in there, I'm sure in this economy more people will be cashing in their saved coins.
Ask if there's a time that is best to check with her about the old money. Like later in the day, end of her shift, etc. that may give you an edge.

Haha! It was a different person than usual but I stilled asked. One woman saved 32 walking halves and a bunch of 40%ers for me.

It is always better to be Depressed than Compressed! :laughing7:
