if there are any muslim members who are knowledgeable with the Quran i bet they could tell you what the scene is depicting. I know the scene is different in the one below but the rest of it is spot on. So the description should get you pointed in the right direction with your research.

Wasn't King Darius a Persian King?

Indeed, and there were three of them with that name, of whom Darius I (the Great) is the most well-known. The problem with depictions of Achaemenid kings (including Persian Empire coinage where sometimes even the inscription doesn't help) is that many of them look very similar.

eBay description says hand etched copper. I know you can always trust eBay. And I know nothing about these things.
