Denver 1914 enamel, token! Cleaned up.

The snow has left and the ground is soft. I went to a favorite park where they were removing hedges. I found a newer penny showed it to the workers. I was about to leave but I tried a spot I had been to before. I was surprised to see these. Life is very busy with kids and activities. I was happy to get out for a few. This will motivate me. The Denver piece is about 1 1/2" The Token is one I don't have from Victor Colorado 14940055091611907395022.jpg, I can't read it yet but it will clean up nice. Happy Hunting!0505171135_HDR.jpg

Wow. That pendant is cool. Nice score.

please post the pics after cleaning

Thanks for the posts, hopefully I can get to cleaning them this weekend. The Denver piece is thick, hopefully there is a mark. It looks Masonic with the clock.

Cool! Well done, congrats and HH

Thanks for the information Don! Found a little time, I shined up the Denver piece a little. I sure like it. The token is another unlisted cigar and bar token from Victor. It needs more cleaning. On back " Schwarzs Cigars and Billiards" I'll look it up in the local directories to see where it was located!

Nice token! Please post it to tokencatalog.com The Schwarz Cigar Co. is recorded as having paid their excise tax in March, 1911 and again in March, 1914. Pritchard's Colorado Merchant Trade Tokens book shows a 25¢ token from the business.

Thanks for the information Idaho tokens, I will list it in the tokencatalog. Its interesting to see the tokens on that site. I keep meaning to get a copy of the Victor and Cripple Creek listings from those books.
