Have any of you ever tried to use one of the water jet tools like dentists use to clean your teeth with? I just figured if it is good enough to blow stains of your teeth maybe it would clean the crud of coins without damage. Dont know how much they may be but you used to be able to buy a water pick for home use reasonable? Let me know your thoughts or experience even if it is a bad idea?

a water pick with a little soap and hot water works for bottles

I picked up a water-pic from the local thrift store for a buck, with cleaning whatever I find in mind. It was missing the cover that acts as the water reservoir, but I made one from a plastic container, (another dime for the container). I already have an ultrasonic "jewelry" cleaner, but its slow and doesn't work well on everything.

The water-pic is good for anything with holes or grooves, like old pocket knives and matchbox type toy cars. I haven't had a chance to MD anything this year yet, so I'll have to wait until I have the time before posting the on the effectiveness of using the water-pic. (Other obligations and weather, haven't been cooperating.)
