Delta 4000 software

Will I eventually have to update the software in my Delta and if so, how? Might just be a stupid question but I've been hunting for years and never had a high tech machine before.

It would require sending it back to First Texas or a licensed repair facility. May not be required or offered.

It was an unusual event that owners of the T2 & F-75 were offered an upgrade. Usually a manufacturer just offers a new model number and that's that: buy new or use the same old model.

In years past analog/solid state circuits of detectors had to go back for retuning for best performance. Modern circuitry has eliminated that.
