Delco-Remy part

I googled Delco-Remy, and it looks to be a part of thier electrical system. So that's probably the mystery part-solved. Anyone have any further info? Curious.

looks like a carbon brush from electric motor ,starter or generator.

Growing up in Michigan Delco is a name you see a lot. They made all sorts of electronics for vehicles in cluding stereos. I can remember growing up as a teen if someone said you had a "delco" stereo it meant you deck was "JUNK" Lookls like you had a good coin day though!

Does that say Seabury on it? Ralph. L .Seabury had 1932 patent on method of making electrical brushes and the assignee was Delco Remy corp.

Good research.

Can we see a pic of the back? A used brush will have distinct wear marks.
