I must be in a blissful rut, as I keep being drawn back to the same wooded meadows to hunt (detect.) Deja Vu with another really nice double bit axe head, even with the tightening wedge still in the handle hole. It was actually 3/4 exposed on the surface next to a tree, but most of the gazillions of rocks on the forest floor are "iron" colored, so I didn't even notice it until my ATPro said, "Hey, look here..." I also found a heavily corroded old pocketknife, some old musket lead, and some turn of the century shotgun and pistol shells. My last find of the day was the surface find of a beautiful white/gray chert atlatl point, even in broken condition, telling me folks have been hunting on this mountain for eons...thanks for looking, Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)
