Howdy Folks. Once again started the afternoon out at Lowell Park in Dixon, Illinois. Hunted with my buddy and we worked the nasty litter drenched roadsides hoping for at least some wheat pennies. He scored one wheat and I got a smashed musket ball, the hand held dope scale, plus loads of crown caps, pull tabs, and some clad. We ran back to his place for smoked pork and vittles. After dinner I headed back to the construction sight of last evening's 1859 Fatty Indian score. I found the Illinois State Seal pendant laying along the edge of a fence. 14K Gold Plated!::) I was hunting pretty much blind to avoid any gawkers walking by disturbing my therapy. I pocketed 1917, 1946, 1951D wheats, and got my 1941D Merc as well. Got the lead "comb" thingy. Old reliable Mason jar lid, old buckle, and part of an old broken bottle. Had a great day and wonderful weekend. Hope you did as well. Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1

Yes indeed, my stress relieving therapy sessions with black oak flies and skeeters sucking the life out of me. I wouldn't have it any other way.:toothy2:
