The right hand one looks like a dagger/letter opener sheath. Souvenir.

Well I don't think it is gold. As you would not plate over Gold?

And I guess the other could be a toilet pull handle...

Crusader thanks for yours and everyones input so far.

Gold was used as a base metal before the turn of the century as my attached photo reveals, but unfortunately i can`t find the link to the article that says brass and gold were heated and rolled into a base metal for jewelry in the northeast of the US continent.
This bracelet was guessed by me to be 125yrs. old.


I do have tons of pics if anyone wants more.

If you want to test it get a gold/silver testing kit for about $15 of ebay.
