Finally got out to one of my rural spots last weekend. I havent been out since DIV, not much time these days. Anyway, the weather was beautiful and if you hit the right spots the relics are still out there. I got into a little burn pit that yielded half a coat worth of GS eagles and a B. The other B was found detecting the fringes of a beautiful meadow. Thanks for looking and good luck digging.

Whats the B mean, is it a CW era 'B' Company badge?

that's a nice group of relics!! wtg!

Sweet finds!

Nice stuff Evan. That site always seems to produce quite nicely even though the hunting conditions are difficult. Those are some pretty large caliber musketballs, aren't they?

I see you found a "BB". Nice!!. Awesome finds there.

Wow! That is a nice grouping of American History dug. I have some regimental numbers from the army in Florida, both from 1838-42; and some from the 1850's, all pertaining to the Florida Seminole Wars. Congratulations...

Thanks for all the comments. Aside from bottles insignia are my favorite finds.

Very nice hunt Evan. You got the three of the B's - Buttons, Bullets, and B's. Now if you had just dug some Bottles....

That's funny Steve. I look for BBBC each time out - buttons, bullets, buckles and coins. Find at least one of each and it's a good day. A whole bottle is so rare at the types of sites I hunt I don't even bother with the 4th B.
