today I went back to the field by my house, I have hunted it like 99 times....lol. Or it seems like it. So far todays indian is the newest coin I have ever dug there. It was a slow day using one arm, get a signal, lay down the detector and use my left arm to dig.....all I got was shotgun shells, and this indian, at least it is decent shape for being a field copper. :icon_thumleft:

is that a die error on the rim above the head?
I think it looks like a small cud mark

looks like the fancy 5 variety. that's a nice coin. i'm always amazed when we bring quality coins out after all these years. wtg.

im snowed in.. nice Ih!!!!! MR TUFF

That Indian sure looks good for sleepin' that long under ground. Too bad the site is only given up the newer coins now, :laughing9: I feel your pain....

Any time you find an Indian, its a good day..

Yeah, it's just a "rim cud", not the collectable full cud type. A rim cud doesn't add any value to it.

NICE FIND!!!
