Death Valley Mummies, Underground City
In 1946 a man calling himself Dr. F. Bruce Russell, and claiming to be a retired physician, told a similar story about finding strange underground rooms in the Death Valley area in 1931. He told of a large room with several tunnels leading off in different directions. One of these tunnels led to another large room that contained three mummies. Artifacts found in the room appeared to be a combination of Egyptian and American Indian design. The most amazing thing about the mummies though was the fact that they were more than eight feet tall.
Dr. Russell and a group of investors formed "Amazing Explorations, Inc" to handle the release, and profit, from this remarkable find. But, as stories of this type usually go, Russell disappeared, and the investigators were never able to find the caverns and tunnels again, even though Russell had personally taken them there. The desert can be very deceiving to anyone not used to traveling it. Month's later, Russell's car was found abandoned, with a burst radiator, in a remote area of Death Valley. His suitcase was still in the car.
The old TV series Death Valley Days once ran a short story about western pioneers also finding mummies in the desert. Since one of the script writers stated that "there had never been a script without a solid basis in fact", it would be interesting to find out what their source had been.
Anyone have a way of checking Nevada Corporations for this year? I would like to know who the other officers listed were. Has anyone here ever been in Death Valley for any serious amount of time

Badger:
Mummies being found in various parts of the Desert Southwest are not all that uncommon ! ::)
I have info on one, ;D laying in a cave, right now!
It's on my list, for a trip in the "spring" ( ' 06) !
I have been in the Death Valley Area and I am planning to return one day soon!
I have several very unusual & interesting, sites that I'd like to look for!
Gaints! In the SW. !
The Utes! or, is it, ??? The Piute Indians, have/had a legend of a tribe of large, nasty people.. :-\ who once lived out there!
That! Region of the country is full of many, strange and unusual things & events!

Badger:
One of the strange and unusual things is:
There is a "basin" (actually two of them!) that lays along the Eastern CA. Border and the Western Nev. Border!
It is hundreds of miles long and about 100 - 150 miles wide!
Rivers from both CA., and NV. drain into the Basin !
AND! Yet!
Not ONE RIVER flows out of this basin ? ???
Where does all of that water ? END UP ? ::)

That is awesome Bill! I would at the very least be interested in getting some pictures, better yet would be something organic to test. Even better than that would be to arrange for someone to go with you to document things. Let me know if that is possible, and I will try to get something arranged over the winter.

Badger:
That is my intention...
I always try to make it a habit of getting MORE & More photos, of anything !
Plus!
There's also something else, that would be of very special interest, in the cave, There, along with the Indian!
If, as you indicated in your PM, you'd like to go, drop me a line with a little more information about yourself..
Primarily, your outdoor experience!

Cptbil, I would love to go along on one of your adventures, especially into the Panamints. Unfortunately, health- wise, I am not capable at this time. I was thinking along slightly different lines, and will send a personal email explaining. Appreciate the offer, thanks.

RichDiggins, Google Death Valley Days, Panamints, mummies, and any and all other key words, then read everything you find. Visit your local library, the University Library, local historical societies. After you do that, the only way to learn more would be to go on in there for a decade or three. Keep good records, let us know what you find!

The Panamint Range is a short rugged fault-block mountain range on the northern edge of the Mojave Desert in eastern California in the United States, The range runs north-south for approximately 100 mi (160 km) through Inyo County, forming the western wall of Death Valley, separating it from the Panamint Valley to the west. The highest peak in the range is Telescope Peak with an elevation of 11,049 ft (3369 m). Most of the range is within the western part of Death Valley National Park.

The range is part of the Basin and Range Province, at the western end of the Great Basin.
"Our foundation has located a vast system of underground passages in the Mother Lode country of California. They were first discovered in 1936, ignored by all even with our best efforts to reveal them. Recently a road crew blasted out an opening verifying our claims. ONE (of the chambers is) 200 feet long, 70 feet wide and 50 feet high. We have disclosed what we believe to be a vast subterranean drainage system (probably traversing the Great American Desert country for a distance of more than 600 miles).

Below is something new I just found re? the Panamints;

"We believe this tunnel system extends out like five fingers of your hand to such landmarks as Zion Canyon in Utah, the Grand Canyon, another runs south from the Carson Sink in Nevada and yet another follows (below) the western slope of the same range, joining it's counterpart and ending somewhere in the Mojave Desert. We believe, contrary to orthodox geologists, that the existence of this underground system drains all surface waters running into Nevada (none, with the exception of the Armagosa runs out) and accounts for the fact that it is a Great American Desert. The hairy creatures that you have written about have been seen in several of these areas.

Certainly there has been much 'saucer' activity in these parts. For two years I have collected material pertinent to these creatures and if you have any opinions along these lines I would appreciate hearing them. "So much for now. I hope that I am still your friend. Much of my time has been devoted (to) helping a farmer near Portland who has made a fantastic discovery of incredible stone artifacts. He has several tons of them. They predate anything yet found (or accepted), let us say that for now. We are making slow but steady progress in getting through the wall of orthodoxy. - (name withheld)."

"Several years ago, subsurface researcher Richard Toronto reprinted a news article in his SHAVERTRON newsletter describing a Municipal Water Director in Los Angeles. This official talked with a man who said that he was hired by the government to look for underground water sources for Camp Irwin in California. At one point the man and a partner came across an abandoned mine and decided to follow it to the bottom. Near the bottom he was surprised to discover an ancient earth-fault which was wide enough for him and his companion to enter. They traversed this fault for a good distance until they finally emerged into a huge river-cavern.

To his surprise he saw before him a crystal pure underground river over a quarter of a mile wide which flowed through the passage and out of sight. Since learning of this incident the Municipal Water Director claims to have 'discovered' at least five similar underground rivers. Some of these have allegedly been die-traced and were found to emerge from the continental slope below the surface of the oceans, and at least one of them into the Gulf of California. This might confirm the allegations made by one anonymous retired Navy officer that the Navy has knowledge of a VAST system or labyrinth of aqua-caverns which meander beneath the surface of California and even into other western states, and that these watery labyrinths exit out into the oceans via huge entrances in the lower walls of the Continental Slope.

One of the more extravagant claims is that some of these aqua-caverns are so large that they can be navigated by submarine, and that one nuclear submarine on a secret mapping mission in fact became lost within the maze and was never heard from again. Two American nuclear submarines have disappeared without explanation in the past, the U.S.S. SCORPION and the U.S.S. THRESHER. It is true that one woman who claimed to have had a very strong emotional bond with her husband who worked on the Thresher, insisted at the time that she just 'knew' that her husband was still alive after the 'disaster'. She said that she and her husband had such a spiritual-emotional connection that they always knew when the other was in trouble (For information on the Navy's investigations of the aqua-labyrinths via nuclear subs, etc., see: 'CALIFORNIA FLOATS ON OCEAN?'; article in the March, 1980 issue of John J. Williams' "REBEL MAGAZINE", which at the time was available from: Consumertronics Co., c/o John J. Williams. Pres., 2011 Crescent Dr., P.O. Drawer 537., Alamogordo, NM 88310).

"... the following discourse from Bourke Lee: "...The professor and Jack and Bill sat in the little canvas house in Emigrant Canyon and heard the legend all the way through. The professor said, 'That story, in its essentials, is the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.' "'Yes,' I said. 'It's also a Paiute legend. Some Indians told that legend to John Wesley Powell in the sixties.' "'That's very interesting,' said the professor. 'It's so close a parallel to Orpheus and Eurydice that the story might well have been lifted bodily from the Greeks.' "Jack said, 'I wouldn't be surprised. I knew a Greek. I forgot his name, but he ran a restaurant in almost every mining town I ever was in. He was an extensive wanderer. The Greeks are great travelers.' "Bill said, 'They don't mean restaurant Greeks. The Greeks they're talking about have been dead for thousands of years.' "'What of it?' asked Jack, 'maybe the early Greeks was great travelers, too.' "The professor said, 'It's very interesting.' "'Now! About that tunnel,' said Bill, with his forehead wrapped in a frown. 'You said this Indian went through a tunnel into a strange country, didn't you?' "'Yes,' I said. 'I think I called it a cave or a cavern, but I suppose a miner would call it a tunnel. Why?' "'Here's a funny thing,' said Bill. 'This Indian trapper living right across the canyon has a story about a tunnel, an it's not a thousand years old either. Tom Wilson told me that his grandfather went through this tunnel and disappeared. He was gone three years, an when he came back he said he'd been in a strange country livin among strange people. That tunnel is supposed to be somewhere in the Panamints not awful far from where we're sitting. Now! What do you make of that?' "Jack said, 'I think Tom's grandfather was an awful liar.' "I said, 'Tom's grandfather lived when the Paiutes were keeping their tribal lore alive. He probably knew the old legend. Powell heard it in Nevada only sixty-five years ago.' "'It's very interesting,' said the professor. "'I got an idea about it,' said Bill, thoughtfully. 'Tom's grandfather might have wandered into some tunnel all goofy from chewing jimson weed and then come out an found some early whites an stayed with them. Tom told me that the people spoke a queer language and ate food that was new to his grandfather an wore leather clothes.

They had horses and they had gold. It might have been a party in Panamint Valley, or even early explorers or early settlers in Owens Valley. How about that?' "Jack said, 'Yeah. The Spaniards was in here, too. So it might have been Spaniards or the early Greeks. And, where is this tunnel? And why did Tom's grandfather have trouble speaking the language? This is an entirely different story than the one Buck told. We are arriving at no place at all with these Indians and Greeks... To return for a moment to our discussion of geology, professor; have you been in Nevada much?'" From here the conversation took off in an entirely new direction... Not only human 'UFOnauts' have been encountered in the Mojave Desert region, but the so-called GRAYS as well. Is it possible that the GRAYS had their genesis on planet earth thousands of years ago the 'Nordics' apparently did? "

It's All True.....Giants, Underground Cities, Vast Cave Systems, Labrynths and "Early Spanish Conquistadore's", All in the California Eastern/Nevada Deserts........Darrell

Well Darrell, not to disagree, but where is the evidence, the only thing that will be believed. Pictures & videos of the tunnels may suffice, for the other things we need actual artifacts, physical proof. If you have some, I would be more than willing to have it authenticated, if it possibly can be. I've already helped expose one long standing scam involving rock art pieces, so the artifacts will need to be organic in nature, carbon dating seems to be the major test that is accepted. Lab & testing facilities are available at an accredited university, so should anyone have anything along these lines, please let me know. Thanks.

Seeing this topic is interesting. A few months ago i found this site and it has some interesting stories with photos, telling of giant indians and strange carvings that makes one wonder and all have to do with caves.
at the bottom, If you page forward it will take you to different states and what has been found.

Thanks Boomer for that interesting site, yes these things are all quite real, although they are all suppressed by the leading world academic scholars and leaders of our societies. Countless times or hordes or legions of times, these "artifacts of antiquity" have been found and confiscated and put away into "other secured vaults" that will never see the light of day again or to be authenticated by any other "outside" scholar or organization. I can only say, that I personally have authenticated my discoveries to myself and have seen past the fog that "inshrouds" all living beings at present. It has totally changed my entire outlook on our present civilization, changed my religious points of view, most of my values, in some cases, my virtues. I can never retreat again to what I once thought again. Saying that, let's return to the "Lompock Site" in California. The site is still there, all quite secured, I've been there, yet NO ACADEMIC, NOR ANYONE ELSE has Touched the Grave Site to achieve the Confirmation of the Report......How Come?...Well, you know this is a real sticky and touchy subject with North American Indians that Assert (or Claim) that they are the First Americans, that is what and how they claim their "Sovereignty",which ofcourse is backed and supported by the U.S. Government, Dept. of Indian Affairs......Which ofcourse enables Most of them to recieve Large Tracts of Reservations of Agreements, Treaties Fullfilled, Government Allowances, Land, CASINOES and the list goes on.....The ENTIRE MAINSTREAM ARCHAEOLOGICAL BODY supports them...So, if a person had something so fantastic, so real, that would prove for a fact that the American Indians were NOT THE 1st, do you think that info would ever get out? ....The American Indians have Lobbied for a Stronger Voice in American Issues and THEY HAVE IT........They don't want anyone digging up anything that would put them in Jeopardy, Hey, they'd have to go back to work!...I got Indian Blood in me too, but it's so far back in American History, it ain't doing me any good....Most Americans or at least 60 per cent have Indian BloodLines, .......For me, it's either the TRUTH or nothing........Could I Point Badger Bart to the Right Direction.....YES........Would I take Him There or Anyone Else....NO......Can I prove what I'm talking about....YES...Darrell

" Most Americans or at least 60 per cent have Indian BloodLines, "

Checking statistics from several different demographics sites shows that less than 1% of the US population is Native American. Is Your 60 % statement based on some known verifiable facts? If so, please show them here.

Using the ratio you give, 100% of the population should have 'white' blood in them from the 70 % of 'white' people in the US.

Once again, where is the evidence for this and your other claims? I will expose these things to the point where they cannot be ignored or swept under the rug anymore.

http://www.adherents.com/adh_dem.html
" Native American 1 2,475,956 - 0.9% of US population"

US Fed Gov't statistics say this:
American Indian and Alaska Native persons, year 2000 (a) 2,475,956
Population, 2003 estimate 290,809,777 - WHICH IS LESS THAT .9 %

Wow Boomer, that's a great site. If I understand correctly, that KY cave was found In my home county.
Thank you.

Badger,
I don't read the statistics or post the way you did. What I read says that 60% of Americans have Some (emphasis mine) AmerInd blood. Go back over the posts here and elsewhere to see just how many of the TN'ers have said that they have some Native American blood. I know I certainly do but I would never put Amer Ind on a census.60% sounds about right to me.

Since I plan to be in the area, sometime next year,
Anyone want to form a group to head out and look for these Underground tunnels, cities, etc. ?

Well if any of you lads decide to go into the Panamints looking for underground tunnels and city's, cross Surprise canyon off of your list as a starting point.

The environmentalist have managed to get the BLM to blocked off the road to all vehicle traffic, for the last four years, "to protect it" from us filthy off roaders and THers

Some off roaders are trying to regain access to the area.? But chances of that look slim.?

Since the environmentalist now claim they have discovered a "rare" Inyo California Towhee (which is naturally on the threatened species list) in the canyon as well as two endangered birds "who eat and rest in the canyon."

*spit*

More freedoms lost to the tree huggers and their feathered friends.

The Thresher and the Scorpion are not trapped under the California Desert. Both subs sank in the ocean, and the wrecks have been located.

There are no other "missing" subs that could have wandered under Las Vegas and gotten lost forever.
