Good to see you out there digging holes Dawg! Some interesting finds there, I like the Draped Bust, nicer than most I dig.

Nice digs Dawg. I believe I was told that the lock is a English made lock. Found one that looks very simular to the one you dug. Art

Nice to see you posting some finds! Be careful about knocking wife's cooking....still better than tv dinners you'll be eating if she sees your comments!! Keep diggin...dawg gone it.

Great relics and coins, CMD. A lot of cool stuff there!! You said it, the older Fisher tectors can still find the goods. Glad to see you posting finds again. Somehow I didn't see this post at first, probably because I was out 'tectin.

HH,
Rusted

That DB has good eye appeal, a little worn, but appears corrosion free, which is rare for dug coppers.
I have got one of those locks yet...I'd take one of those.

I get em' in every kind of condition because of South Jersey Cape, diverse types of soil . We have a East and West coast here .This area is known for glass making because of a silica sand , drains quick less corrosive effects on ALL metals . 1819 dirty.jpg1819 lc.JPG I get them toasted like this .. 1807 (2).jpg to as good as this DB 1807 # 6 - Copy.JPG

Coins with porous surfaces or old corrosion are worth significantly less than coins with good copper surfaces. Thanks for the good words everyone , and I don't hate AT's just the hype , most detectors can find the stuff if your in the right location ... repeat ...location .. HH to All

Good Day
