To ease confusion the one on the right is Goliath :laughing7:. Anyways... both found on the same day in the same field and approximately the same time in SW Alabama.

....is the patina on these from the ground? I think I remember you talking about that topic before? They look like they have the same finish but are they they same age? Would you soak this lithic?

The Pickwick is a little whiter that what the pictures are showing. I couldn't get the light to work in my favor on it but it worked better on the little one. I have wondered about age and since I found them so close I've wondered if they were made by the same person. I wouldn't soak these. I've noticed with white coarse chert that they won't change at all or some will even turn a dull grey and a few I tried turn a mid shade black.
