They look like 9mm and .45 or maybe .38's and .45's. but there isn't a lot of difference between the 9mm size and .38 size...d2

That's a 20th-century type of bullet, called "copper jacketed."

I agree with D2, they appear to be .45-caliber pistol and .38-caliber/9millimeter bullets. In the 20th-century, rounded nose bullets tend (but arn't always) to be for pistols, and the pointed nose for rifles.)
