Hi All,
I've been off the forum for awhile, but I wanted to post a few photos from a new shipwreck beach spill that I'm Ive been detecting for the past month to get an idea of possible origins.

I've found a few finless fiddlebacks, a rattail spoon, a very narrow miniature bowl spoon, and a finned back Portion of a spoon or fork. I think that these photos may indicate more than one era and Country of origin, since rattail and finless fiddlebacks preceded the one piece of the finned back that looks French in origin.

I'm not an expert in old pewter, so hopefully there is someone on the forum who can bring further clarity to my post, as I want to try to get an idea of what Country and era the ship(s) may have sunk.

I've found this spill in a narrow 100 yard area, and I've found a few dozen spikes, mostly bronze which would indicate a British origin (and the fiddlebacks could be Sheffield England origin). I've only found two coins in this silllover the past minth- a 1773 1/2 Reales, and what appears to be a KG2 (not enough clarity to verify, but diameter and weight and copper composition all match).
Thanks in advancefor the assistance- JB
