Got my first silver of the season,,hunted my daughters yard and was getting a few wheats and the next thing you know out pops a shiny one! Wish it was a 1916,,no such luck,I checked other ways to date the coin,,it must be a 17, got 2 Roseys 21 wheats,,not a bad day,,,

Those variety 1's are very much in the minority of SLQ's found on here. I've probably found two dozen SLQ's and only one Variety 1. And it was a 1917. Big congrats on that awesome find - it's the breast Variety of SLQ's;)
 

something about those quarters that are appealing, tough one to find too, wtg.
