Hello, recently, Ive been looking for a way to get the tuff patina off. Here is my data.
Distilled water-
it takes way too long and costly. use only on best coins.
Olive oil-
haven't tried, after results
electrolysis-
does very little under low voltage...take patience
CLR or cheaper counterpart-
Very effective with any grime. It will clean patina in about a minute, and is cost effective. However, it will color the coin a dull red from what i have seen. However, this can MOST LIKELY be removed with brasso or other polish. Very effective on new pennies
Brasso-
Good for fine polishing....will give high luster.
I Will up ate later if asked.
