The University of Pittsburgh is the home of the library of William Darlington. William Darlington was born in 1815 and had a great interest in colonial history. Over his life, he amassed a great collection of books and manuscripts. The library is located in the tower of learning on the Pitt campus. Luckily, many of the books and maps in the colloection are now available on line.
