A 13 year old that I hired to run our Hawaiian shave ice stand at our inn this summer has (actually his Dad has a nice White detector) was using it for the first time when he was 10 and found a sizeable diamond ring which he used to take his whole family to the Bahamas for a week!!! and he just told me that today, he found another fine diamond ring in the sand vollyball court. Over 1 carat. It shouldn't happen that way!
No reports of lost rings and he checked first. So it's off to the buyers tomorrow. Now how's that for a story. Damn lucky kids! PS: His dad taught him well as he is a communications cable installer and uses md's daily in his work.
