I'm thinking you'll need an Asian Arts expert on this piece. This almost looks like some sort of trophy. I wish I had some ideas to help but I am thinking everyone is pretty much in the same boat....the unknown boat. lol I mean, on the one hand, it's not very old (relatively speaking), on the other, I've never seen another piece like it. And while most times, rarity is a good thing, it can also be a *bad* thing as far as trying to figure out value. I was wondering, is this some sort of metal? Are there any marks on the bottom of it? That could help direct you where to go next.

you won't find something like this on ebay...I can guarantee that...(I saw there people claiming to have Picasso Degas or Shishkin...and other people bidding hundreds/thousands of dollars on those fakes just cause they saw the words Genuine, Rare, Scarce or Picasso without thinking)

Sure, I understand, these are links to other metal vases (some prettier to be honest). It's just an opinion from a collectors point of view. Without any markings whatsoever from the maker, it's the eye of the beholder and it technically isn't very old. I hope someone offers you quite a lot for it though!

none of them looks in the area of the vase i have...were talking here oranges and bread ...but thank you for your effort...although if it's not marked doesn't mean it has smaller value...eg imari porcelain...many unmarked...many worth thousands...tens of thousands...and so on...being unmarked doesn't mean anything if were talking value...
also...paintings made from the 1980's to now...(furniture...porcelain..lamps.sculptures...etc) worth from thousands to millions ...many of them... being from the 70's doesn't mean it doesn't worth anything...ADDING TO THAT IT'S FROM A COUNTRY THAT IS NO MORE (1969-1975)

Wow, didn't mean to offend, offered an opinion but you seem to have made up your mind that your piece is worth "thousands to millions" imo so I doubt any opinion that differs from your own will hold any weight. You kept bumping this thread so I offered my opinion and have given you links to other metal works (some from asia). Trying to offer an opinion here, but I really do hope it's worth a lot for you, who knows!
