I am wondering how bad does the salty air damage the internals of detectors if you operate them on a daily basis. I guess at what point do you say ok it is broken due to salty air conditions time to shell out another thousand dollars for a new one. Glad I do not live near the ocean. I go to the east coast once a year for a week, and I know what it does to my car, and the shell of the detector. Anyone have any problems with this ever? Just curious.
