DAISHIN coin or token?

I found this Daishin coin or token at a fair grounds site. It was probably 6 inches deep. Since this site is along the Mississippi River there are many foreign visitors here.
It is the same size as a U.S. Quarter. The coin has Daishin and what looks like Japanese or Chinese writing around the perimeter.
On both sides there is a circle with what looks like a "Z" inside the circle.
I don't see any numbers or values on the coin.
Color is light gold or light brass color.

Anybody has any ideas what this is?

If you pop into Ebay and query Daishin, there seems to have been a company named Daishin that produced radio controled cars a few years back. I see a couple of them titled Nissan Advan Z. Maybe the coin is a promotional bonus for buying the car. Just a guess...
