I went to the Czech Republic last weekend and had a great time MD'ing there! I hit another GOLD RING on my last swing of the night! I was putting on my rucksack and hit a solid 12-14 on the CTX 3030. I thought it would be just another beavertail but boy was I wrong! I also hit three silver rings too! It was a great day for sure!

LOL! Thanks Brad!

Do you dig everything? If I remember correctly coins during the communist time were aluminum an the modern one can contain steel

Excellent saves,,,
The numbers on the CTX and the E-Trac are pretty much the same.
I have recovered nickels and gold on 11-12, 12-12, 13-12, and 14-12.
Any combination starting with 11, 12, 13, 14 and ending with 11, 12,13, 14 are all potential gold producers.
When the VDI ends in 15 or higher, it is usually a pull tab
Other numbers that has produced nickels and gold for me are 12- 24, 12-25, & 12-26

Congrats on a super day of hunting. Notice how the Czech rings are thin and elegant? Not "Phat Bling" rings like here in the States! Sub 8-)

OldSean: I don't dig everything. I just use the SWAG formula in picking which targets I did.

The rings are much more subdued in CZ for sure!

That's a great haul on the treasure! Keep them coming!
