CZ5 & CZ6 Questions......

I've got a couple of questions regarding the CZ5 or CZ6.

When the ground balance knob is set on (example) #2 as apposed to being set on
# 6 does this mean that the mineralization content of the ground is higher if set on #2? (this is all done after a manual ground balance)

I've noticed that the CZ will loose some depth in "hot ground" (high mineralization areas)

If I switch to Salt Mode will this adjustment gain my machine more depth in high mineralization dirt?

I have found some of these conditions in some of the San Francisco parks.
Thanks, Mike

When the ground balance knob is set on two, it is minus adjustment to the ground. When set on 6 it is plus adjustment. After you GB an you set the knob different than what is balanced, you get less depth.

Turning on the Salt Mode will only get you LESS depth. It is like more discrimination to the conductive salt.

Re: CZ5 & CZ6 Questions......

I have had a CZ5 for about 12 yr. now and I love it. my GB knob has no numbers on it so I just GB until it is rite and have no problems, I recheck GB every so often and yes salt mode will give you less depth. I never had to use it yet out here in the desert.
