Took my CZ-21 out for the first time in the water at a freshwater beach that is hit heavy in the fall after our very short swimming season here in Maine. Because of this, I didn't expect much, but wanted to try out my new detector and new scoop. After a couple of hours and only finding 27 cents, I started to work my way back to where my wife was on the beach. About 10' from the shore and as I was leaving the water, I got a good mid tone. Dug it up and there was a large man's 14K wedding band in my scoop! I don't have a picture of it yet, but it was size 12 going by my ring sizer and quite heavy.
Not bad for the first time out in the water with the CZ-21! This is the second gold I've found in the last two weeks, the other being a small 10K charm found on dry land. I believe that I will like my CZ-21 as much as the CZ-20 I use to have.

Great job as I was reading the post I thought do they swim in Maine?? ;D ;D ;D

Yes FB, we do swim here in Maine. The season is short, usually June through August. That's why I don't find as much gold as you Floridians.
