CZ 20 user

Hello,
can somebody give me some advise/tips for digging UW. I am a diver and find it hard to dig out the object when I get a sound on my CZ 20. Are there special tools. I am a beginner in UW detection.

I've used a CZ20 and Excal 1000 underwater while diving. Recovery depends on the bottom mainly. I've used a Garrett Classifier pan to get the material into for sifting. It's plastic so you can use the detector for checking to see if you have the target in the pan. Watch out you don't pick up the dive watch. Also attach a cord to the pan so it doesn't float away from you. Hope you are using a 10 inch coil too.

I went to Hookah rigs for the added down time air supply. Most of your tank air is used in the recovery.

DEPENDS ON THE BOTTOM....Here is Okinawa water is clear and I fan a lot with a ping pong paddle.
