Here's another type you don't see to often here. 3/4 by 1 6/8 I'm thinking Cypress Creek found by me in Mango Florida (Hillsborough County). I was told years ago by a few that this is Cowhouse Creek Chert and alot of artifacts and alot of the material were found in the Harney Flatts area, anyways the yellow/gold look is pretty cool.

I've seen quite a few of Son Anderson's finds from Harney Flatt's, many of them were of that type material. Nice find.

neither have I before then, I wonder if it was a local thing at the time or if it's something only the old timers called it.

I've seen some of his finds too, this material was pretty common for that area. I have a few others that I'll post later on.
 

Noted the curved posture on one side indicates made from a flake. Does points made from coral have the curve in them? Love these pictures.
