cwr tact

I just went into a chase who takes cwr and told them i would buy all they get. Has worked alright they gave me a heads up when someone called to ask if they could bring in their coin stash they have had sitting around for the last 15 years. If you always go to the same bank to pick up just talk to the teller and leave your phone number. You'd be surprised that they do call

Ask for "hand wrapped rolls" of quarters/dimes/nickels/cents etc. (make the motion of flapping the end of the roll if need be)

If they start to hand you empty wrappers, explain you want the ones with coins inside of them! lol... some tellers can be so dumb...

"customer deposited rolls of coin" works for me

Lol I get this all the time-

"Hi. My [mom/dad/girlfriend/wife/husband] accidentally turned in a bunch of coin that my [older relative] was saving. I'm not sure if it was at this bank, but if anyone has brought in coin to deposit, could I possibly buy it from you?"

Works in rich and poor neighborhoods alike.

They have headed straight for the empty wrappers so many times on me.

Today was my first time asking for CWR. It was brutal. I stuck with saying: "do you have any customer rolled coin". I kept getting MWR rolls and/or blanks stares.
