CWR score!

Hi all, if anybody knows, there are an abundance of free coin machines in my area, therefore nearly all coins go into those coin counting machines instead of being wrapped up.

Went to the bank and requested a box of nickels, they were low and were unable to supply me with the box, so I went to the supermarket.

In the supermarket, a small bank is in there. A long line, I wait in line and get up to the teller.
I ask for halves, No halves.
I ask for 5 rolls of pennies and 5 rolls of nickels to satisfy myself for a few minutes when I get home.
The teller gives me 5 rolls of dimes and 2 rolls of pennies, all she could spare.

Expecting to be skunked, especially since they are dimes, and dimes suck in my area, here is what I got.

A 1968 CANADIAN PENNY!!!!!

Ha, that I did get, but I also scored from one of the 5 rolls of dimes, a

1956 silver dime!!!

I am happy to score this, as CWR's are rare, and i know the tellers dont cull. Will have to hit this bank more often. $26 investment and got a silver dime for 10 cents. sweet.

nice score. I had a dime score myself today. I got a '59D or '50D silver dime (the coin is a little worn so I can't quite make out the last digit) in my change from a fast food chinese restaurant on my way home from work today. Nice unexpected suprise with no searching. That's more silver than I found in my entire last box of dimes. Plus I aslo found 2 quarters in a parking lot earlier this morning - just clad but still $.50 for free. Today was a nice finish to a week of nice finds from small searches/small change for me also.
