CW or cavalry or confederate? Quite a coincidence

Hey all, I initially found one of these a few months ago and nearly tossed it thinking it was junk (and it could be). However, I found another one today and now I am quite curious as to what they are. Both were found at civil war sites that are both confederate and cavalry related. They are about 3 inches long or so and appear to be cast iron and handmade. Thanks for the help and let me know if you need any more pictures.
