CW brass acorn style finial for cartridge pouch or holster

Found this today in a camp we have been hunting. I believe it is a brass acorn style finial for a cartridge pouch or holster. Also found some iron piece I have not identified yet.

I believe you are correct about the finial Randy. Nice find and your iron piece may have come from an old wagon. HH, Quindy.

Well Quindy maybe the iron piece goes with all the horseshoes I found as well.

We sure did cover a lot of ground today in the short time we hunted. I think I broke my record on shotgun hulls. I am proud of my Confederate ancestors but those 12th GA boys are about to drive me nuts.
