"It was the banks fault, officer. See, they gave these rolls in old wraps and, well of course, I had to open it. When I saw the silver rims, I simply went into shock and BANG! a car pulls right out in front of me."

Awesome score!!

Sickest part was that the Franklins, Walkers, and Barber were in the same roll. Has anyone found a better roll of halves? Any all Walkers or Barbers?

That is a great find I know if I found these i wouldve drove off the road in excitement

quickly find a spot to pull over -- breath slowly to prevent hyper ventalating * then scream --BOOYAH!!!! :headbang:

for just 1 worn ben today I got $11 at the coin store

31 x $11 is $341 and the 40 % at say $3 each x 40 is a easy $120 more so at least $561 bucks min at scrap price . -deduct the original 50 paid out --at least $ 511 to the good dats sweet.

Sweet score! I'm just hoping for 1 90% half. I haven't found one yet since I started CRHing again.

You made a killer score! I once bought a solid roll of Walkers and Franklins from a teller. It held a key-date '38D Walker which paid for the entire roll. ffd

heck a rolls of halves is just $10 -- any 90% half at my coin dealler pays $11 right now -- for a profiet of $10.50 -- so if you get 1 90% half the rolls paid for + 50 cents more on top

I paid $100 for the roll of 90%, (melt at the time), so the key-date Walker paid for the roll.

Yaegershots,

Those were the same watertown style wrappers that mine were in. Is there something to those wrappers?

I don't know. I have got other CRWs in the same wrappers and they were all skunks. I think they are just older wraps. I always get excited when I see old wraps though.

that's why I try to get customer rolls over boxes. Sometimes the rolls are stuffed with silver. Great score, you got a lot of oldies right there
