✅ SOLVED Curved iron thing. No idea

Hey y’all, I dug this thing fairly recently. I had my discriminator up to avoid the nails, when I dug this. It’s iron, so the shape must’ve triggered it. Any ideas on what this might be? Thanks!

I don't think it's rusty enough to be iron. More likely a heavy brass alloy. Is it broken on both ends?
