LOL..No he just digs holes too but I got bored and decided to pan out a pan of a 15 ft deep hole he dug in the yard, no gold but there's these pretty stones that were in the heavies so I decided to post them...any idea, I'm thinking qaurtz

quartz would be my guess . Though I'm not used to seeing it around here in that Size & quantity.

here it's usually in a sandwich of quartz and rock,
Or Speckled in Rock like chicken Pox

Yeah I'm thinking qaurtz too, what throws me off is they look wet or coated but they are dry, there were smaller ones that actually had the orthohombic shape, pink and clear but so small they wouldn't be worth anything....

Pink & clear would Probably be Rose Quartz.

But if your in diamond country don't rule that out though

Arizona, no diamonds found out here as far as I know but there wasn't diamonds in Arkansas or Wyoming or Colorado until someone stumbled upon them, now I don't have good luck so I know there not diamonds and I'd be pissed if my turtle turnes out to be a better prospector than me lol j/k but I had to post just incase ya know...

Look like Quartz and maybe some garnet.

I went to the diamond mine park in Murphreesboro, AR earlier this year (not reccomended), one thing I remember is that diamonds have a seemingly oily appearance and that nothing, not even mud, will stick to them.

looks to be a mix of chalcedony agates and quartz.

Sorry I don't know much about your stone/rocks, but a picture of your 100 lb tortious would be cool.
