New equestrian that ties to this post: what identifies a nutting stone from a Omar?

(I haven't removed the soil from the hole in hopes I can have it tested).

After reading this, I'm still unable to tell the difference:

More often than not, they are one in the same. The short answer is that it comes down to where the item is found because most are natural formations. When they are found in unnatural locations and among other artifacts or show obvious signs of use that they become artifacts.

So called nutting stones often have gouge marks from forming the hole, but I personally have my doubts that they were just used for cracking nuts.

looks like there are a few fresh chips on the back to me, ive found a few stones where there has been a similar hole worn into them I've always wondered if they could be part of a bow drill kit
