Curious bullet

I dug this bullet recently on a civil war encampment site. It appears to be a 3-ringer crammed into a smaller caliber rifled barrel? What do you guys think? Johnny

Possibly a double load.Looks like it was fired into the conical part of another bullet.

Clean it up and post another couple of pictures of it. It could be a carved bullet.
