The CZ70 is a nice detector that has different features that are rehashed from the earilier models to make it easier to use for some people. I have a CZ 6a and love it, but didn't enjoy the 70 as a matter of preference.

The CZ21 is a upgraded CZ20 with the improved pinpoint button. The CZ20 has two freq. sent out together just like the Beach Hunter ID and it reports with 3 different tones, Low, Mid, and high tone depending on the conductivity. It is fairly deep, but IMO not as deep as the Excal or Sov GT. Natch a PI also gets deeper. What I like about it is you can set it on Zero disc and just listen for the tones. I skip the low and high coin tones and just dig the mid tones which can be pull tabs, nickels or gold rings. Reasoning being why waste time digging coins or iron when I can sweep farther to locate the jewelry and go by the percentages of more ground covered equals more rings.

The older CZ20 just had a problem with the rubber pinpoint buttom getting old and leaking. I smeared it with silicone sealant and have had no problems since repairs now cost real money from the new Fisher. Both CZ20 and 21 have a locked on Saltwater mode, none changable.

The land version CZ 6a is hip mountable for wading and the saltwater mode can be turned off for more sensitivity in fresh water or land hunting. It is still a great buy at cheap prices, but due to repair prices now, when mine breaks, I'll deep six them since I have others to play with.
