That looks so familiar, I think I have a "pin" that is close if not the same from that, if so it is very modern, since I believe the pin I am thinking of was given to me either for retirement from the USAF or something related to it.

Well, I knew it was familiar, maybe not from me receiving one, but for sure my Dad did during WW2, here is a photo of some of his military relics I have in my possession and two of them are those pins, and you will see they are not buttons.

I'm contacting the land owner, a widow, to see if the pin belonged to her husband. I really hope so.....it would be one way of paying her back a little for letting me hunt her farm.

I wish I knew where my Dad's WWII medals and badges are. I even had his Ike jacket, but someone did a switch for one with phony buttons. I remember the ruptured duck pin being one of the things in the box.
