Cuff-Links?

Saw the earlier post about cuff-link. After seeing that post thought these might be. Anybody else? The area I found these was near Potomac River, seen of much activity from Colonial to Present. Any age on buttons?

Look like cuff links to me but better pics would help with a better identification. Could be silver?

Is there a design on the front of the links? Try taking a picture in daylight but not direct sunlight.

There is a floral design on front but very hard to make out.
