God they suck!!! I knew this would happen!!! >:(
Maybe they can win a world series if they get the heck out of IL!!! >:(

CHOKE

Now we get to hear the lame excuses...

They didn't let the goat in...
Bartman messed with the game AGAIN (eventhough he wasn't there)...
Just wait and see...

NO - THEY JUST SUCK!!!!

Guess what, the Sox will do the same, get rid of them too!!!! >:(

I've watched the Cubs since the 60's. Year after year, many with great players, hall of famers. Many with divas, but this year they did a great job as a team. The Dodgers did a great job of scouting the Cubs and knew how to pitch to every one of them. Also note their coach did not hesitate to go through his bullpen rotation at the first sign of trouble. This year the Cubs had the best record in the Natioanl League, my only gripe is of course I will not pay the price they want for tickets to any game.

One down, two to go. The Sox need to come back big tomorrow. Ray of hope there....

The Bears will have the shootout-high scoring game opportunity they need to beat the Lions this weekend. That is if Turner does not run the offense and keep his wonderful high school playbook on the field. It could be a bad weekend for sports fans Chicagoland.

Gonna be digging tomorrow so won't know about the game until the 4th quarter or so.

Happy Hunting Sox fans.
Go Bears.

Stay with them guys...Your time WILL come. I am a life long Red Sox fan and know how you all feel...we went 86 years before we finally broke "The Curse"...so don;t lose the faith!!

Ah yes, the good ol' Lovable Losers. I was born and raised a Cub fan (though I'm also a fan of the White Sox...does that make sense to any of you?) and have come to lower my expectations when it comes to these kinds of things. It hurt me like no other to watch them fall in 03. And last year, which was a lot like this year. I think the Cubs expect to fail and thus don't really give it their "all". Of course, we do have some highly-overrated players who, for the most part, haven't cut it all year. Fukudome is probably the biggest waste of money the Cubs ever spent. Sure, he's great in the outfield, and hits a few homers every now and then, but so do most any other player the Cubs have. Having said this, why did Lou throw him in the final inning last night? Especially when he knew Soriano was up after him. Neither of those two guys have done anything substantial in the NLDS.

It's time to build for next year. We need to lose Fukudome and get our pitching staff to grow some balls. Notice the Dodger's pitchers? How confident and collected they all were? Our pitchers are always sweating and looking like they're about to get a whooping from their moms. The Dodgers deserved to win, hands-down. Good job, Dodgers. Now, Cubs, get back to work and actually finish up what you start next time.

Sox just choked!!!!

I told ya so!!!! ;D

I was going nuts watching those playoffs. What the hell was Lou thinking????
I would've yanked Soriano and Fukudome right off the bat and put Hofpaur in
left, DeRosa in right and Fontineau at 2nd.

At least those guys would've shown some enthusiasm for the game. Six errors in a
playoff series....come on.

im in mason county,il.still solid chicago team supporters here. 200 miles from chi town. get anywhere south of here though it gets flaky. cards fans

I was in St. Louis ealier this summer and was hanging out downtown by the Cardinal stadium one night after a game, which the Cards won. Man, seems those Cards fans know how to party. That's definately a night-life city with a lot of buzz. All this in midst of the flooded Mississippi River. Too bad I couldn't stay longer.
