Thanks, both bands were found in the water but the diamond ring was found in the wet sand. I always like to sweep along the wet sand opposite the area I am going to be water hunting especially when I see any rocks in the wet sand.
Cheers Gary

Oh wow! Very nice. I think the style if the diamond ring is beautiful!

Gary nice finds. Curious about something, do you believe the 3030 made a difference or would other machines done similar results? I ask, because a friend is possiblt interested in upgrading from his Excalibur II.

We hunt similar beaches, just probably north of where you found those.

Again very nice.

These finds were all fresh drops in heavily hunted areas so on these particular finds I cannot say that the CTX 3030 made a difference apart from being able to use my metal detecting time more effectively. The CTX 3030 allowed me to get to the finds first before the full time water hunter's in the area had a chance to scoop them up. I did not have to dig the obvious penny targets (12-36) and corroded bottle caps which I have found to be much easier to identify with the CTX 3030 than with the Excalibur. Some crusty bottle caps sound good with the Excalibur, all crusty bottle caps look bad with the visual discrimination features on the CTX 3030.

Nice finds and nice detector>>WTG!!

Those finds are incredible! Nice paycheck!

When you master a machine by putting the time in, it's inevitable that good results will follow. You had a great weekend, you deserve it my friend!

Wow, fantastic finds. Oh to not be landlocked....

I get a li'l 'tectin'n' in the water, but man, you guys.., wow, just amazing.

Just a few more like that and the machine is bought and paid for. HH

heart attack stuff
