The CTX has been out for a short tine now and I was wondering if any one has used it to hunt for meteorites. OR
What about if you have a CTX,, and have some Meteorites ,maybe do some test and see if the CTX will hit on them and let us know the results.
CTX will hit Meteorites like the rest detectors and better, just dont use discrimination and dig iron.

So ,,, like maybe it might find one or may be not ?

Like with the rest VLF detectors, and pi too. look for meteorites where they can be or in antarctica where ground clean from iron.

Any detector worth his salt will not use any disc while looking for space rocks. The CTX is no better or worse when doing this.

I would think it would be better than most VLF's but not as good as a PI when looking for meteorites.

A PI would be not as nice as a VLF and would get the depth, it would also make you spend lots of time digging trash without being able to cover as much ground per time spent per meteorite.
