CSA Buckle - Reproduction or Relic?

I'm no buckle expert but it looks real to me. And it is in awesome shape also. What makes you think it isn't real. It has all the hooks on it and appears to have 100 plus years of oxidation to it also. It's a great find if it turns out to be real. I'd have to say it's real. And worth some money also.

What part of TN was it dug? It does appear to be in overly good shape if it is real. Probably the best thing to do is to take it to a dealer who specializes in CW relics.

It is a Fantasy Plate Produced in the 1960s. I found one just like it near a CW site about 25yrs ago and had it checked by experts. Notice the sharp edge on the rear of the casting. Hope this Helps. trk5capt...

That's what I figured, someone bought it for their kid and he lost it in the 60's. Thanks for the info.
